Independent fashion, thoughtfully chosen since 1990

Pampas is an independent women’s fashion boutique in the heart of Glasgow’s West End. Established in 1990, the boutique has been part of Hyndland for more than 35 years—earning the trust of generations of customers and becoming something of a local institution.

From our home on Hyndland Road, we bring together a carefully considered collection of clothing, knitwear and accessories from established international designers alongside distinctive, lesser-known labels. Our collections include names such as Herno, Transit, Weekend Max Mara, Joseph, Rails, Dea Kudibal, Essentiel Antwerp and Hale Bob.

Every piece is selected individually, with an emphasis on exceptional quality, flattering shapes and clothes that will be enjoyed for more than a single season.

Curated differently

Pampas has never followed the traditional department-store approach of separating designers into individual areas. Instead, we mix pieces from different collections to create complete looks and help customers see new possibilities within their wardrobes.

Colour, texture, shape and versatility all influence the way we buy. Our rails are regularly refreshed, and the boutique continually evolves as new pieces arrive.

We buy in deliberately small quantities. This allows us to offer something more individual and gives our customers the confidence that they are unlikely to see the same piece everywhere else.

Personal service at the heart of Pampas

The relationships we build with our customers are every bit as important as the clothes we sell.

Our experienced team takes the time to understand how each customer wants to look and feel. We offer honest, knowledgeable advice without pressure—whether someone is searching for a complete outfit, adding a single piece to an existing wardrobe or simply discovering what is new.

Our store manager, Helen Riley, has been part of Pampas for almost 30 years. Her experience, warmth and understanding of our customers embody the continuity and personal service for which the boutique is known.

For customers who cannot visit us in Glasgow, we provide the same personal approach through telephone advice and individual WhatsApp video appointments.

Building on a Glasgow institution

Pampas has evolved over the years, but its foundations remain unchanged: quality over quantity, individuality over passing trends, and personal relationships over impersonal retail.
